One of the many proud moments of teaching: Discussing prejudice, its subconscious foundation and the ways to recognize and uproot it once and for all, while also brainstorming related films to boost the conversation. Part of next week’s homework is the viewing of the splendid “Freedom Writers” which is going to shed light on how change can be achieved through enlightened education, self-awareness and acceptance of others.
