London Educational Trip (3 – 8 July 2014): Students’ Diary
We went to Covent Garden and Leicester square.
We walked through China Town and then back to Wembley.
Greenwich – We visited the Royal observatory of Greenwich and St. Paul and Peter’s cathedral, where lady Diana used to go and pray.
We also saw the ship ‘Cutty Sark’.
On the way back we visited the area of London, where the offices of the richest people in the world are.
We also saw the building where Reuters offices are.
Then we went to Millennium Dome and, after that, we relaxed in Hyde Park near Agia Sophia’s church.
Horse Guards and Buckingham Palace (we watched the changing of the guard) – St. Jame’s Park.
We walked past the Prime Minister’s House, at 10 Downing Street, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
Then, we visited the Natural History Museum and the British Museum.
In the morning, we attended the service at St. Paul’s cathedral.
Then, we visited Chelsea football field and, after that, we went shopping in Oxford street. We saw Marble Arch.
In the evening, we had a ride on the London Eye.
We also visited Piccadilly circus with the statue of Eros.
We visited Madame Tussauds Museum and then we went to Harrods, one of the most expensive shops in the world, and saw Diana’s memorial in the basement.
We went to Covent Garden and then back to the hotel where we had a farewell party at the hotel bar.
We left England from Heathrow Airport and back to Greece.
